About Amy
My lifelong health experiences helped shape who I am as a practitioner. In high school I was caught up in diet culture and thought it was normal to skip breakfast to “save calories” or eat snacks for lunch only to be unsatisfied with everything I ate that day.
The unhealthy relationship with food may have contributed to various gastrointestinal issues including, GERD, IBS, and SIBO. This coupled with a significant sports injury in high school and a desire to improve my recovery, led me to learn the importance of healing from the inside out using food.
Another personal experience that I am deeply connected to is the desire to start a family. My husband and I had a hard time getting pregnant with our first daughter. This was such an emotional and confusing time in my life. There was shame, self doubt, and pressure. This experience put me in touch with so many amazing clinicians and teachers who supported and taught me along the way.
I am thankful for my past health journey. It has given me personal experience and knowledge so I may help guide you to be the healthiest, happiest, and most balanced version of you.
